Women Sticking Together, and Serving as Accountability Partners

"As Iron Sharpens Iron, So Does Friend Sharpen Friend." Proverbs 27:17

Since our inception, God Thinks I Am’s vision and focus has been to uplift women and to encourage higher thoughts in terms of who we are, and what we’re capable of becoming, while doing things that extend beyond our ‘perceived’ intellect and capability, with grace and ease, and with God as the source.

But, as with any concept, we intend to become multi-faceted in our mission and approach, in both encouraging the strengthening of one’s self, as well as the strengthening of each other collectively as women.

Now enters a small paradigm shift (or growth rather) to the God Thinks I Am mission.

And that is, to cultivate a network of women who empower and uplift one another. Who celebrate each other. Who are there for one another. Who keeps her sister accountable to become her highest self and, to go after her dreams. Because, there is a need for this. We as women NEED each other.

There’s a strong energy for women to find a significant other, and subsequently ride for him (which don’t get us wrong, we’re all for). But, imagine if just a portion of that energy was replicated in some of our existing relationships with our female counterpart? Oh, the possibilities.

We’re sure God has a woman (or several women) on your heart who He wants you to align with. We pray you are obedient in reaching out, and taking the first step to cultivating fruitful and accountable relationships with other incredible women of God.

“It’s better to have a partner than go at it alone. Share the work, share the wealth. But woe to who is alone when falls, and has not another to lift up … By yourself, you’re unprotected. With a friend, you can face the worst.” Ecclesiastes 4:9-12

What are your thoughts on the importance of women celebrating one another, and serving as accountability partners? Do you think there is a need for this?
